introducing your coat lady
The sun always shines in LA. And here too, where I am, currently a few kilometers outside of Vienna. The weather has taken me back to my childhood days in Thousand Oaks, California, sun-drenched and often a dry hot wind. Speed dial to 2016 - September 1st.
First post of your coat lady. That's me. I love coats. And cats. Cats have their natural coats - making them inherently huggable. We may not have shiney fur coats but we can change ours. Multiple times a day. That is where yours truly comes in. Lots of coats here.
I am mentally counting all my coats (which sadly, are spread around various places like Amsterdam, Hamburg, LA, New York and Vienna - I would really love to travel with all my coats. ) A black trench from costume national, a fluorescent blue one from Prada, a grey wool classic coat by Prada, a pink and grey lurex coat by Paul Smith, a plaid coat by Burberry, a black fitted coat by Dolce& Gabbana, a white coat by Miss Sixty (although I think I might have forgotten that one at the tailors when I wanted it shortened) a car coat by Theory, a spring coat by Miu Miu,.....some warm cosy coats inherited from my mom. And quite a few from H&M, Zara..I love them all.
A few reasons why I adore coats: you don't have to get undressed when you shop for coats. You don't have to wait in line for a changing room. A coat changes an entire look. Bam. You can switch up one coat with different scarves (I have a thing for scarves too). A coat ups your outfit by at least 10 points. I can wear jeans, scruffy sneakers, an old t-shirt - with an awesome coat, I look like I can speak five languages. Add cool shades. I can recite Shakespeare and Virgil.
So watch this space for coats for all seasons, occasions, countries and lifestyles.
